100 days of Trump administration show positive trend for Indo-US ties: Former Indian diplomat Arun Singh

April 29 (NL Web Desk): Contrary to apprehensions that India could be one of the biggest losers in the Trump era, a former top Indian diplomat says the first 100 days of the Trump administration has shown a positive trend for Indo-US ties.
Arun Singh, former Indian Ambassador to the US, says the upward trajectory of ties was expected to continue with bipartisan support for it and that Indo-US relationship during the first 100-day period has broadly proceeded along expected lines.
“As the engagement of the past hundred days has shown, India is clearly seen as an important interlocutor, with some convergence of interest, and potential for an even stronger mutually beneficial partnership,” PTI quoted him as saying.
