Pak mutilates bodies of two Indian soldiers along LoC, India warns of befitting reply

May 1 (NL Web Desk): In another incident highlighting Pakistan’s growing insecurity, the bodies of two Indian soldiers were mutilated by Pakistani forces along the LoC in the Krishna Ghati sector of Jammu & Kashmir.
Pakistani forces, in another violation of the ceasefire, fired mortars and rockets that killed two Indian soldiers. Pakistani troops belonging to its Border Action Team (BAT) then went a step further by entering 200 metres inside the Indian territory along the LoC and mutilating the bodies of the Indian soldiers.
“In an unsoldierly act by the Pak Army, the bodies of two of our soldiers in the patrol were mutilated. Such despicable act of Pakistan Army will be appropriately responded,” the Northern Command stated.
Indian troops, reports said, launched a counter offensive as they pounded forward posts in Pakistan with heavy artillery fire.
New Delhi, while condemning the incident, asked Pakistan to desist from such incidents besides warning the neighbouring country the blood of the brave and valiant soldiers won’t go in vain.
“The sacrifices made by the soldiers won’t go in vain. Our armed forces will react appropriately,” Defence Minister Arun Jaitley said.
