Missing Cotton students traced to Howrah on their way home, had left Guwahati after faring poorly in exams

May 13 (NL Web Desk): The three students of Cotton College, Guwahati, who went missing on Thursday have been traced and are on their way back home. Partha Pratim Mali, Wahidur Rahman and Tonmoy Kathar, all higher secondary science stream students of Cotton College, had left Guwahati on their own will after failing in their first year examinations despite their very commendable performance in the HSLC examinations last year that earned them a seat in the prestigious college.
Police had already notified families of the trio that their location as on Friday night was established at Howrah railway station. On the other hand, the ‘missing’ trio was also in touch with family members and friends through social networking and messaging apps, wherein they wrote that they had left their homes following their poor show in the first year examinations.
The three students are likely to reach Guwahati on Sunday morning.
